Brisbane Under Water

Its a weird feeling that I was just walking on the streets of Brisbane only last week. Now the streets are flooded with water and some streets are even gone from sight. Brisbane city today is a ghost town as most businesses are close and resident gone. Would be for the best as flood effected area have mostly been evacuated.

Its been reported the flood level is lower that the disaster in 1974 but it that really a relief? What’s done is done. Homes are lost, businesses destroyed. Its going to take a while for Queensland to recover. Truly its a dark day for Brisbane today. Same goes for other flood effected areas in Queensland. Our heart goes out to everyone.
